To Be or not to be

I chose to be.
To be who I am.
To believe in reality and not in revenge.
To accept who I am even if others don’t.
To not hurt those I love, but simply to step aside and be ready if they want help.
I chose not to be an opportunist because, ultimately, you have to give in order to receive.
I chose not to take advantage, but to earn what little I have.
Ultimately, if you give good, you can only receive good.
If you do harm, you can only receive harm.

I chose to live my dreams because, for what little I have left, that’s where I want to be, and if you don’t want to be part of my dreams, so be it.
I chose to be me, because in a fake world, I am a real person.
